Lexicon: Real Based And Redpilled Folk Blues
Always hated how "Redpilled", "based" and variants got stolen by bigots. Now they are mostly used as "this is racist and I love it". So in the early 2020s, I tried making up a term to counter that.
As you probably already know, "Redpilled" is initially from the Matrix movie. When you take the Red Pill, you learn the truth of the world, about the machines controlling humanity.
I like this word.
I always hated how, I think it was starting the early 2010s, "Redpilled", "based" and variants got stolen by bigots. Now they are mostly used as "this is racist and I love it".
So in the early 2020s, I tried making up a term I could use that would be similar yet slightly different. Just like how I use "woke" in the real, original sense of the term. The same meaning made by African Americans a century ago, before racists started using it as a buzzword for anything they hate: disabled people, black people, trans people, muslims, etc, and crossovers between these categories.
Furthermore, in the early 2020s, there was a viral tweet from the directors/writers of Matrix, The Wachowskis, who are trans women. I don't remember the details, but the tweet was the duo replying to some bigot USAjin politician who was using the term "Redpilled", telling him to STFU.
In other words, that USAjin politician was falsely Redpilled. And so, being Real Based and Redpilled would be to stand against the bigots.
Lastly, "Real Based and Redpilled" has a sentence structure similar to The Real Folk Blues, and my brain associates both, fusing them into "The Real Based And Redpilled Folk Blues".
